Icons are tricky. Designs need to strike that delicate balance between being detailed enough to successfully describe the product/concept, and universal enough to be quickly understood.

They also need to be

scalable.

The Project

Interactions LLC was continuously innovating. New products. New patents. There was a constant need for a brand new icon, and when it comes to Human+AI systems for customer service, no idea was simple.

Through the company’s soft rebrand in 2024, I decided to keep the icon approach the same. Single stroke. Single color. This style was clean, yet versatile, leaving plenty of room for creativity upon expansion.

For a lot of icons, I looked for ways to represent a combination of human and AI intelligence. Whether it was conveying the transfer of human prompts to an AI Agent, or a subtle “Hi” to denote a friendly interaction, I always wanted to bring a fun, quirky element into my designs.
